This medium brown square-shaped mold is made of wood and measures 3 inches in both length and width approximately.This mold comes from the collection of James E. Trice, author of “Butter Molds A Primitive Art Form” published in 1973 By Wallace Homestead Book Co. & “Butter Molds An Identification & Value Guide” published in 1980 by Collector Books. This is from his collection but not in his book. He had 1300 molds at one time. He is a friend of mine, and I sold molds for him from 2001 to 2009. I started selling more from his collection in 2024 and will be selling the remainder as I get time.
