Don't know what the circles represent. Handle has yellowed. some loss to marrow at the top but still very solid. Blade is about 7-3/4" long. Above the handle on both sides are gold painted animals. One looks like a ram with noticeable horns. The other I'm not sure. One side has obvious rust and other side has a 1/2" strip of rust on the edge. As for provenance I have none other than I was told Turkish. I'm also listing a Sudanese dagger. The sheath appears to be made of wood and is covered in a black wrap that is coming loose where rolled over. Gold thread on fabric at the top. Some loss. Please scroll down to see all the photos.
