Overall length is 3 1/2", shaft is 2 5/8" long, but can be cut down to accommodate smaller hinges. The thickness of the shaft is 3/16" or .188 of one inch. These are perfect for 3" or 3 1/2" hinges. We got tired of having all our half hinges hanging on the pegboard wall while we searched and waited for acorn tip pins to show up. So we had some made to help us complete our hinge sets.
