According to Oneida's instructions on the bottom of the candlesticks, all you need is a soft, damp cloth and then wipe the candlesticks down -- no silver polish is needed! The candlesticks have a 4-1/2" base and are simply gorgeous! No chips, cracks or scratches were noted. FYI: Replacements.com have marked down these candlesticks to $199.95 EACH!
