These badges were worn on the left breast of the uniform by qualified non-pilot aircrew in the RAF and other Commonwealth air forces, such as the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The single wing design with the central "O" indicated the wearer's role as an Observer. The badge is in overall Good condition with minor threads and discoloration showing use.
