It is made from steel and the spindle end is threaded 1” X 8 threads per inch. The hefty 2 inch diameter X 1/2 inch thick back plate is drilled and countersunk for 3, #8 woodscrews, (not included). Attach this to any material that can accept wood screws successfully and screw on your chuck, faceplate or a spindle mounted Jacobs drill chuck! We also have these back plates with a precision 1.00 inch stud opposite the threaded spindle to be secured in your 1.0 inch collet chuck, (5C etc.).
