Beautiful matched low footed crystal compotes in Starburst Pattern, with Preisner sterling silver weighted footed base. Don't know who made this glass, but it is top notch. This crystal has an oily feel to it, like Murano Glass. Notice how the glass top detaches from the sterling silver base, so you can submerge it your dishpan. This feature also make it real easy to polish the silver. I suppose you could small compotes like this by many names: bon bons, nappys, candy, or nut dishes. These would look good on matched end tables, on the opposite ends of the fireplace mantle, or both on a coffee table. There are no chips or cracks in the glass, and the sterling does not appear to have any dents, they just need to be polished.
