Beautiful pantochronometer or magnetic dial compass signed by C. West having asked a compass expert he tells me there were 3 C. Wests operating mainly in London from 1801 to 1867 his opinion was that is was one of the later Wests who was a mathematical instrument maker as well. Unusual to see these made of brass. Will send insured quite happy to post overseas.
