This uncirculated 2 Papua New Guinean kina note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea in 2000. It is a green polymer note that bear the signatures of Leonard Wilson Kamit and Koiari Tarata, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms with a bird of paradise on a Kundu drum and ceremonial spear. Its reverse side shows a Mount Hagan axe, a Kula arm band from Milne Bay Province, an engraved dogstooth necklace from Bougainville, a Sepik clay pot, and tapa cloth patterns. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a shadow image of the bank logo.
