There have been slight modifications and variations. Original Alex has two variations - with a line under his nose and without the line. Marty has two variations - with large eyes and with small eyes. In 2008, Skipper the Penguin and Melman the Giraffe were added to the line as Alex and Marty were reworked. The newer Alex has a white snout. In 2015 a new Skipper was issued along with a whole set of Penguins from Madagascar (European issue) including Kowalski, Private, and Rico. Only Skipper was released in the USA. This listing is for one of the Madagascar characters, either loose, mint in bag, or mint on card.
