The Peanuts gang first appeared in May of 1990 on 3.9 Austria stems. In 1991, the characters were made in Yugoslavia. The 4.9 patent was issued in November of 1991 and appeared on the stems in 1992. In 1993, Yugoslavia changed the country name to Slovenia and the stems changed as well. You can somewhat date the PEZ by patent number and country name. The Peanuts Series includes two separate sets - the older original design (1990-1999) and the newer design (2000-2004) which added a few more characters. In Set one we have Charlie Brown (a few face variations), Lucy van Pelt, Snoopy, and Woodstock. In the newer set there is a redesigned Charlie Brown, a redesigned Lucy, a redesigned Snoopy, a redesigned Woodstock, plus new characters Peppermint Patty and Joe Cool (Snoopy in disguise). In 2015, the original 4 characters were reissued with some tweeks. This listing is for one of the Peanuts characters, either loose or mint on card.
