Locate the main tool body (with the brace attached) to one side of the piston, over the pin hole, in the direction in which you want the pin to travel. Insert the pulling pin into the pin hole on the opposite side of the piston, so that it travels through the centre of the gudgeon pin. Once inserted, screw the pulling pin into the inside of the main tool body using an hex key.
