These clips are designed for use on mainline planer boards, with ease of use in mind. If you have ever used any of the other styles out there they are not always easy to open and reclose on even the most calm days. With our quick carabiners that simply snap over the mainline it only takes seconds to be setting lines. Set up is very straight forward, before going out adjust the screws on the clips to your line size so it pulls out at just the right tension every time, no guess work with how deep the line is being set into the clip. Optionally you can half hitch a #14 rubber band on the line and set into the clip to help save both your line and the clips from any wear. All parts of the clips are Plastic, Stainless and Aluminum to last for many years to come.
