This is an auction for TWO Fine-Very Fine Plate number coil strips of 7 of Scott #5099a, the self-adhesive (25c) Amish Quilt Presorted 1st Class rate service-inscribed stamp of 2016 & 2021. Plate #B11111. The original issue of 2016, which consisted of 2 designs, had the plate number on the quilt that is mostly red (Scott #5098). Last Year this issue was reprinted and the plate number was then relocated to the Quilt stamp that is mostly blue (SCOTT #5099). Reprints of coils have occurred in the past and plate number changes may have followed, but this is the 1st time in PNC history that the stamp containing the plate number has changed on a setenant issue. The 2022 Scott catalog value for a PNC strip of 5 for the 2016 issue is $3.50. The strip is never hinged, is F-VF and has no flaws.
