This motor trans axle seems to run just fine except for the electric brake does not always kick in when you stop the scooter. If you rock the scooter back and forth and go from drive to neutral on the lever then it will start working again. If you are technically inclined you can remove the electric brake from your old unit and install on this one and be good to go. This motor is literally just a few months old and according to the customer it did that from day one so it may be a simple fix inside the electric b r a k e if you know how to disassemble and reassemble it.
