Protective Mat for Hand Stitch Projects I love to do embroidery - the last picture shows one of my designs. Most hand stitched projects need to be rolled up when not being worked on. It is not a good idea to fold your project during the stitching process. This is the way to use this mat. There is a pocket at the top in which an empty paper towel roll should be placed. Carefully lay your project on the inside of the mat and roll it up and use the white ties to tie around the paper towel roll. Now your project is rolled up and will never have fold lines. If the mat is too short or not wide enough for your project send me a message and I can sew you one according to your measurements. It will cost more for a larger one but you will have it for years to come.
