Check the listing for details. Pure English Angora Fiber. Color: Gray, Condition: New. Listed at 15.00 USD. 1 oz. of pure English Angora rolags prepared for a luxurious fiber experience. This beautiful fiber has been gently clipped from much-loved pets, then hand-rolled into silky rolags ready for any spinner to create the softest yarn from this gorgeous wool. With an average length of 3-5 inches, it can be spun as a pure angora yarn, plyed with another fiber to add softness, warmth, and halo, can also be mixed with another base fiber, dyed, as well as felted. This fiber does not have crimp so while the resulting yarn will not have stretch, it’s air-filled hairs lead to an incredibly lightweight yarn that is seven times warmer than wool, is softer than cashmere, and adds a beautiful halo to the finished project. This fiber is a wonderful substitute for silk/mohair or baby alpaca yarn in knitting projects for those with fiber sensitivities, or simply for a more luxurious and lightweight project. *Our natural fiber does come from live animals, so while every effort has been made to remove all VM (vegetable matter) from the fiber, some may remain. **Colors may vary slightly from pictures due to color patterns on the rabbits themselves or individual screen display settings.
