Check the listing for details. RARE 1900 Stool Gardner State Colony Workshop. Color: Brown, Condition: Used, Made in United States. Listed at 450.00 USD. Very rare wood stool branded Gardner State Colony. Established as a workshop for the insane from 1904 to 1935 in Gardner Massachusetts and then changed its name to Gardner State Hospital. Designed for farming but included a workshop for furniture. I couldn’t find another example. Interesting piece of history. Measures roughly 25 inches tall. Local pickup is fine.
