The volume control works as it turns on and I’ve switched the speeds and you can hear the motor clicking and working however it needs a new belt or some other minor tuneup, but you can hear the tone change and shift in the motor when you switch from 45 to 33 on-forth. Sold as is but I believe the motor is strong in this one.
