Heath Plymouth" ei William Heath in Plymouth who was active during the late 1850s' and mid-1870s'.Comparing the present Heath's example with the Watson examplepreserved in the Science Museum, there is no dubt both was manufactured by the same maker, Watson & Son in London.The present Heath example is in general good condition retaining a good part of its blackening underneath of the stage. It preserves also three objectives and some accessories. It was formely polished.Everything is preserved in its original wooden travelling case.A rare English dissecting microscope.The microscope measures 13,5cm diameter, the case measures 18x17x14cm.
