The most common failure that the E120 Classic suffers from is a dim screen. If your screen is dim and does not respond to increasing the brightness menu option, your backlight is failing. Sea-Tronics USA has performed extensive research into the OEM component faults, we use this knowledge to manufacture all of the components utilized in the repair process. Some repair facilities tout LED conversion as a superior option to repairing the existing CFL backlight; do not be fooled. The LCD in your E120 Classic is attuned to the color warmth from CFL bulbs, not LEDs. Converting your E120 Classic to LED's will leave your display washed out with a blue hue that cannot be corrected by manipulating the menu options. Let our technical team accurately diagnose and restore your display to it's original glory. How it works: The price outlined in this listing ($100.00) is an initial deposit towards the total cost of the repair. The total cost of the repair is $400. Please note that in the event that your device is not repairable, or you decide not to proceed with the repair after your device has been received, the $100 deposit is not refundable. Once we receive notice of your purchase, we will send you an intake form by USPS and email. This form will contain information about where and how to ship your device, as well as a ticket number that you can use to reference your repair going forward. Once your device has been received, our technical group will evaluate your equipment and begin the repair. Once the repair is complete, we will send an invoice for the difference between the deposit and the total cost of repair + return shipping. If any issues outside of the proposed services are identified (that would result in additional cost to you), we will contact you to discuss the details prior to proceeding with the repair.
