This is a vintage fixed blade knife that has been rehandled. It has a carbon steel blade that is between 4.75" and 5" long and has been heat treated to a hardness between 50 and 55 HRC. It has been rehandled with a wood handle encapsulating the tang attached with copper rivets. It comes with a modified leather sheath without a button clasp strap or belt loop. The blade has been lightly cleaned and polished and is clean and in great condition with only light wear. The guard has a tiny bit of wiggle but is secure. The handle has been cleaned, and some patina has been left on the copper rivets which gives aesthetic contrast. The sheath has been cleaned and conditioned. Any further cleaning or polishing and any sharpening or sheath modification is left up to the buyer.
