The Reloading Basic ERS2000 Precision Electronic Scale is precision piece of equipment capable of accurately reading up to 2000 grains and should be handled with Care. Before using the ERS2000, please read these instructions fully and become familiar with its operation and features. Trickle Set-Up and Use One of the unique features of the ERS2000 scale is its build-in powder trickle .most trickles were designed for use with beam scales and cannot be used with electronic scale due to their size and height. The ERS2000 solves its problem by allowing the reloader to attach the trickle directly to the scale. 1.Remove the storage tray from the back of the scale and remove all trickle parts.(the powder feed tube is located on the bottom of the tray) 2.Note the lugs on the bottom of the powder reservoir. Insert the lugs into the matching openings in the top of the round base section and turn clockwise to lock the reservoir to the base. 3.Insert the powder feed tube through the reservoir. Be sure that the open end is angled downwards. 4.Slide the o-ring back into place on the powder feed tube. 5.The powder trickle can be positioned on either the right or left hand side of the scale. Remove the T shaped plug from the scale side that you want to place the trickle on . 6.Press the T shaped end of the trickle assembly into the scale body opening. 7.Fill the reservoir with powder and rotate the feed tube clockwise to dispense powder onto the powder pan. Note: The scale cannot be used with the trickle until approximately 1.0 grain has been added to the powder pan. Do not attempt to trickle up from 0 as an improper reading can result.
