Single Shot Adapter that replaces the box magazine to convert the rifle for single-shot use. Popular with target shooters and is also good practice for training new shooters. This item is made by me on one of my 3D Printers in the DFW, TX area. I use high resolution low speed printing to achieve an aesthetically pleasing part that functions extremely well. This single shot adapter will work with Remington models 541 & 581 that are chambered for .22 Long Rifle. I have not tested with .22 Short or .22 Long but should work where applicable. Note: This item is not a Remington product. Available colors are Black, Remy Red, Remy Green, Blue, & Silver/Grey. Additional colors (Orange, Bright Green, Camo Green, Yellow) are on-hand and available upon request. These may be added as a standard offering in the future depending on popularity. In the meantime, if you'd like one in another color just ask and give me an extra couple days to make it. I can also offer custom lettering on the side to personalize your item. May be useful for clubs, personalization, etc. Bulk quantities may also be available. Please ask for details. These have been tested in my 541X custom plus several 541S, 541T, & 581 rifles. They've worked well in all and I've been given a thumbs up from my testers. Due to differences between rifles and models due to manufacturing tolerances etc there may be slight difference in how these fit. So for best results, if necessary, I recommend inserting the adapter and then pulling it down from the bottom or push down from the top to seat it against the magazine latch. Or simply insert it with the bolt closed. It should feed the round straight into the chamber once installed correctly.
