These German Bosch 113905205T SVA distributors are fully disassembled with all the parts cleaned in an industrial parts cleaner. They are then inspected and measured to ensure they are still in spec. The distributor cap clips and screws and drive dog are removed from the body and are re-bright zinc plated for corrosion protection and a like brand new appearance to this distributor. The body has all surface corrosion and stains removed. This returns it back to a new finish. They are reassembled using Bosch distributor grease and oil. (2) new Bosch fiber washers are installed and the main shaft are shimmed to spec.I install new Beru or Bosch condensers and new points along with a new rotor and cap. I also install tested good, original and correct German Bosch vacuum canisters that advance the timing 32° on my Sun distributor machine as per spec.All these restored distributors are run on my Sun distributor machine post restoration to ensure they meet Bosch advance curve specs.They are ready for decades of further service after these restorations.These distributors are for single port engines running 30 series carbs. They are not a vacuum match for the 34-3 carbs or dual carbs. It's also not a good distributor for an autostick VW.These 205T were installed on 1968-1970 VW's but will work on all manual 4 speed transmission VW's with 30 series carbs.These restored German Bosch distributors are vastly better than the mechanical 009 distributors in driveability and fuel economy.
