BB/BB means that the both surfaces of the wood are "cabinet grade" quality so the finished product is a high quality gift. The plaques are sanded and then the middle "ring" is stained with a special blended stain and the background is painted. The finished piece is then sprayed with a crystal clear enamel for a semi-gloss finish.The middle ring can be personalized to include a name or personalized message.
