This is a 6.5x14 Rocket Shells carbon fiber snare drum that has 4 large vents in it. Extremely rare. I've actually never seen another one other than the drum Jose Pasillas played with Incubus. They only made less than 10 of these EVER - which makes it an incredibly rare drum indeed. At first glance, it's a bit of an odd drum, but it actually sounds amazing! It's loud, quick and dry but still has some fatness to it. Not only do the vents in the drum bring out the articulation and attack, but also the low end as well. It came with triple flanged hoops, but I had these old school Tama vintage hoops lying around and damn, is it a match made in heaven - or hell?
