Never used to gig with and I purchased it as an experiment. My own personal preference is my Yamaha WX-5, but the Roland has many incredible features including its own on-board synth, so there's no need to hook up to an external device to produce your sounds. But that is also an option with the Roland as it has both midi in and out connectors. Comes with the factory case, power adapter, and manual, all in the original box.
