Like an acoustic hi-hat, the VH-10 offers a natural rebound and the usual vibration behavior for a familiar playing feel. Depending on how hard you press the hi-hat pedal, the sound character varies between open and closed hi-hat. You can also use other hi-hat techniques, including half-open playing or foot splash effects. With the VH-10 you can even create the characteristic change in sound that occurs when you hit the hi-hat closed and then open it immediately.
