This Ronson silver cigarette case is engraved to Judy Garland on the occasion of her marriage to her fifth husband, Mickey Deans on March 15, 1969. I’ve purchased this item from a close friend of Mr. Deans in Los Angeles. As I was told, it was a quick wedding, and Mickey Deans told my friend he purchased this cigarette case and inscribed it and presented it to Judy Garland on their wedding night. It is likely this personal effect was in Judy’s procession at the time thing on June 22, 1969. I am selling off my collection of Garland memorabilia, as well as various items of historic Hollywood memorabilia, and I hope this lands in your collection for historic preservation.
