On occasions, the operator may want the abilities to dispense with small targets in order to concentrate on large, more desirable ones. The S 1 plugs into the jack located at the bottom of the handle. It will mask out any small targets within the range of the locator, responding only to large targets. Once the S 1 is removed, the locator will once again lock on any gold or silver targets. No adjustments necessary.
