Scope Ring Gauge Sets Use these to reference your ring height so you aren't buying multiple sizes to get your scope down to ensure clearance. Gauges have labeling on the side to identify whether they are for 30mm or 1 inch scope tubes, and are labeled on the other side from .25-.65 in .050 increments. Measurements are from the bottom of the gauge to the bottom of the scope tube, so if manufacturer advertises to the center of the tube for their measurements, you can add .5 or 30mm/.59" respectively. There may be some strings from the manufacturing process left on the gauges, and are designed to snap apart easily from the strip they come in for ease of packaging.
