Screw two of them into the short starter and then the third one goes into your ramrod. The other item is a a one-piece 31 in ramrod made by Thompson center model 9139. You cut it to the length you want and secure the threaded insert into it, allowing you complete customization.The bullet short starter has been used and there is some signs of that on the larger adapters.
