Put a card on the portal (Every portal but the Imaginators specific portal) instead of the toy and they appear in the game like a normal figure. What are the advantages of using these cards over the action figures? Some Skylanders are very rare and hard to obtain including ones that can unlock special DLC levels. Instead of paying hundreds for a figure to unlock DLC, you can purchase the equivalent NFC card for a fraction of the cost!NFC Cards are also space saving and compact!
