Check the listing for details. SOLID BRASS COMPENSATED SHIP’S BAROMETER, MADE IN GERMANY. Condition: Used. Listed at 186.71 USD. Vintage solid brass compensated ship’s barometer. Made in Germany, this barometer has a closed face, with ornate printing indicating weather types. One fixed pointer (brass) and one moving pointer (black). It is beautifully mounted on polished wood with brass corner fittings. There is a hanging slot in rear. The name on the face is “Captain’s Choice” as well as the words “Compensated” and “Made in Germany.” Possibly made by BARIGO and sold under another name. The back is covered in green felt. It is in excellent vintage condition and working perfectly. The face is 3 1/8th inches in diameter, the mount is just under 5 ½ inches square. We are a charitable organization seller and as such, we recycle our packing materials as much as possible. In addition, we attempt to describe our donated articles as completely and accurately as we can. In most cases we are unable to provide provenance.
