This uncirculated 20 Dollars Solomon Islands note is a specimen banknote issued by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands. It is a purple, blue, and green note that is dated 2017 ND, bears the signatures of Denton H. Rarawa and Fred Fakarii, and measures 140 x 66 mm. Its obverse side features basket-weave designs, a bird as a registration device, the flag, fish carvings, and the coat of arms. Its reverse side shows a group of women ceremonial dancers, a man playing panpipes, and a bird. Both sides of the note have a diagonal red ‘SPECIMEN’ overprint. Security features include a StarChrome windowed security thread with demetalized CBSI 20 and a watermark of a falcon head, an electrotype CBSI, and cornerstones.
