This uncirculated 50 Dollars Solomon Islands note is a specimen banknote issued by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands. It is a purple, green, and yellow note that is dated 2005-2009 ND, bears the signatures of Rick N. Houenipwela and Luma Darcy, and measures 160 x 72 mm. Its obverse side features a club, the flag, dog carvings, the coat of arms, and a hologram. Its reverse side shows Nymphalid butterflies, flowers, a pot, a snake, lizards, shells, plants, and a spear. Both sides of the note have a diagonal red ‘SPECIMEN’ overprint. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized CBSI and a watermark of a falcon head, an electrotype CBSI, and cornerstones.
