The band also features a 60% thicker case anchor, reducing the chance of band failure under severe conditions. The Sonnax band is a drop-in replacement part, with no modifications to the drum required. Using a new drum when installing a wider band is highly recommended. Kevlar lining material features the same benefits as later-model, high-energy materials.
