This is a very rare press kit for the Space Shuttle Challenger mission 51-L which ended in disaster when the vehicle exploded shortly after lift off. Press kits were distributed to journalists ahead of the flight with detailed information on mission activities. This document is 40 years old and has been in storage for most of that time. It is in good condition but there is a small tear about an inch and a half long on the spine to the first staple, the staples themselves have surface rust which reflects the age. These press kits are now rare and ones for this mission are extremely rare.
