This very large 7-segment display can be seen from a hundred feet away. So many projects to try, so little time… As dictated by the display datasheet, each segment must be limited to 20mA. To use this display you will need a 12V supply and current limiting resistors on each segment. Your power supply should be rated for a minimum of 160mA for each digit in your overall display. For example, a 4 digit display will work nicely with a 12V/1A supply.
