I've been told that these were used in the Marvel Mania restaurant to serve either soup, salad or pasta in. I have a small number of them and they may be the only ones left to exist after the restaurant closed over 20 years ago. They are unused as they are bundled together and wrapped in plastic. They are ceramic, made by Oneida and weigh a little over 2 pounds each and are very solid. These were part of the warehouse find of the plastic Marvel Mania plastic plates I have up for sale. I will include a free Marvel Mania plastic plate with every bowl sold. Warehouse Find! Marvel Mania was a themed restaurant under the franchise banner of Planet Hollywood. It opened on February 18, 1998 near Universal Studios Hollywood but closed down soon after due to Planet Hollywood's financial problems. NOTE: This item is a warehouse find. Item may have minor wear.
