I’ve had the problem like other sprint car enthusiasts with the threaded bungs coming loose or falling out and made the fix all solution. Simple drill the tank to 1” place the bung in the hole from the outside to transfer drill the 3 mount holes. Remove bung and open 3 mount holes to clearance 10-32 and countersink holes. Now you’re ready to place the bung inside and apply the 3 mounting screws. Your tail tank is ready to go.
