The holes at the top, marked 18/16 and 14/12, will help you to pre-cut the perfect length of wire for your projects and to create the rivet head on both sides. The holes in the middle are approximately 1.8mm deep. The holes are marked 12 gauge,14 gauge,16 gauge, and 18 gauge. The dimples on the left side of each number are used for support when riveting in order to hold the shape of the rounded rivet head. The circles on the right side are for riveting eyelets in 3 different sizes without flattening the rounded rims.
