The surface of this Victorian silver tray is plain and unembellished. The deep galleried border of this tray is embellished with an impressive pierced and applied laurel / bay leaf decoration, incorporating two shaped oval inset handles. Each handpiece is encompassed with a branch decorated border, ornamented with details replicating thewood"s naturalistic texture. This sterling silver tray is further embellished with an applied bead decorated border to the rim. Condition This antique silver tray is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The pierced and applied decoration is very sharp.
