So, sure enough, pins 1 and three seem similar but when I look at the wires going to the connector, one of the pins is open circuit, so that can't be right. trying again I get. you be the judge - I took the best photos I could of the resistance wires using my cell phone - and I looked carefully with a magnifying glass, I think they are intact.
