Substantial and heavy (12 3/4oz), 10" long. Very well made and finished. 6" black-finished blade with cast floral decorations. 4" dark maroon/bronze handle and pommel with lotus decorations. Cast in one piece, very slightly magnetic. From design, decorations, and high degree of finish, my guess is that it is of contemporary Indian manufacture. A very nice and refined - quite stunning, even - decorative piece to enhance any contemporary or classic decor.
