This simple concept allows you to easily adjust the gap between the bottom V die, by loosening two 5/16" bolts and siding the 3/8" thick laser cut plates in or out. This will allow for tighter bends on thinner materials and or allow you to bend much shorter pieces of material that what is currently offered with the SWAG standard or heavy duty press brake kits. The bottom steel plate has 4 threaded 5/16" holes and is laser cut out of 3/8" thick steel which sits upon the bottom die of the SWAG 12 ton press brake kits. The total usable bending width between the four fasteners is 13.75". The "Flat Top" is a self contained unit and can be removed or slid into position with in a few seconds. Due to the custom nature of this product and the infinitely adjustable options It's bending capabilities are not easily defined. Note: If you are not able to bend 90 degrees in say 3/16" material due to the top die contacting the bottom 3/8" thick steel surface you can shim up the two adjustable plates with ~1/8" flat bar to increase the distance the top die can travel before contacting the 3/8" thick steel surface.
