I installed a heat sink on the U800 horizontal output chip to enhance cooling as that chip is a known failure point by overheating. I installed a higher CFM fan to improve cooling to the unit. I installed new tantalum caps on the A5 control board and replaced the Dallas SRAM with a new one. That chip holds the calibration data for the scope. The original had a battery way past its expiration date. I also installed safety caps in the power supply. Those original caps can explode due to age. Comes with the front cover.
