Check the listing for details. The Emerald Mystery by Warner Perry (Top-notch card effect). Condition: New. Listed at 6.00 USD. The Emerald Mystery by Warner Perry A mind-blowing Nate Leipzig card effect, now redesigned with subtlety, instead of knuckle-busting sleight of hand. A deck of cards is genuinely shuffled. The spectator chooses a suit and removes those cards from the deck. The performer chooses another suit and likewise removes his cards. The spectator places the top card of his packet on the bottom of his packet; the magician duplicates this procedure. The spectator places his next card face down on the table. The magician does likewise. The spectator then alternately places cards on the bottom of his packet and on the table, until he is left with just one card. The magician does the same with his packet. The remaining card is placed, reversed, somewhere within its respective packet. Rubber bands are placed around each packet to prevent any manipulation. At no time does the magician handle the spectator's cards. When the rubber bands are removed, the magician and spectator each deal the cards from the top of their packet, one at a time, face up on the table. Now get this--the cards are found to correspond in numerical value, even to the extent and location of the reversed card! Use any deck. Cards may be examined at the finish. "It had me fooled for years." —Tom Fitzgerald "A very workable, fine effect." —Julian J. Proskauer "Impossible! Skill required? None to speak of. You can't go wrong." —Lloyd E.
