I say that only because I am not a sewing machine expert. It seems to work fine. It is likely the belt will need to be replaced. I am basing that on appearance. At some point in time, someone created a set up for this thing. It will not be mailed on the wooden platform. It will be taken off of the platform and mailed in pieces. When I flipped the switch, the needle moved as you would expect a sewing machine to do. It moved quite quickly. It will need some sprucing. I have no control over shipping cost.
